Business Development & Growth
Secured more than $1.5B in new business, including ~$700M at Johnson Controls, where Scott received the 2008 Chairman’s Award for Customer Satisfaction and Employee Ingenuity. Additional wins include a $400M Ford Fusion interiors program at Textron and a $350M Nissan cockpit contract at Visteon.
Product Engineering
Directed cockpit product engineering and manufacturing tooling for the Ford Escort, leading an 18-month design-to-launch program that earned Ford’s General Manager’s Excellence Award and placed second for European Car of the Year.
Designed and launched the first plastic fuel tank in a North American passenger vehicle, an industry first.
Program Management
Led the interior module team (cockpit, doors, trim, carpet, electronics) for the Lincoln LS, managing 150 suppliers and delivering the launch that won Motor Trend Car of the Year (2000).
Manufacturing Engineering
Delivered the first sequenced seat build for the Ford Focus; reduced downtime by 45% and carved $1M annually out of labor costs through process innovation.
Manufacturing Operations
Managed $800M+ UAW facilities producing millions of assemblies annually, maintaining 100% safety and delivery performance across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Lean Process & Continuous Improvement
Led the largest lean manufacturing cell at Ford, sustaining profitability for five years and driving long-term efficiency.
Plant Leadership
Directed operations with 450+ union employees, meeting all financial targets while introducing new cost-reduction strategies and throughput gains.

Scott Davis
Scott Davis is a global engineering executive and recruiter with over 40 years of leadership in automotive, aerospace, and commercial truck industries. He has launched billion-dollar programs, managed $800M+ plants, and secured $1.5B+ in new business.
Career highlights include:
- Lincoln LS interior program — Motor Trend Car of the Year (2000).
- Ford Escort cockpit — GM’s Excellence Award, 2nd for European Car of the Year.
- Launch of Ford’s largest lean cell and first sequenced seat build.
- Johnson Controls — 2008 Chairman’s Award after securing ~$700M in new business.
Scott holds MS degrees in Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is affiliated with NSBE and SAE.

Claudia Davis brings extensive international experience in program management, finance, and customer delivery. She has overseen global initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring programs meet deadlines, financial targets, and customer expectations. Claudia’s background complements GRN Columbus’s mission of delivering value to both clients and candidates.
